Application in Process An interview with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada officials may be required. Should this be necessary, you will be notified about the time and place of your interview. If you live outside Canada, the Canadian Immigration Office responsible for your area will contact you to let you know how the interview will be conducted. Application Withdrawn |
DECISION (A decision has been made at this point.) |
Applicant Notified If you meet the requirements to renounce Canadian citizenship, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will contact you for the return of your citizenship certificate, if applicable. Then, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will send your renunciation document to your Canadian mailing address or the Canadian embassy, consulate or high commission responsible for the area where you live. If you do not meet the requirements, you will be informed in writing. |
